What levels of play are offered at ECVA?

We understand that choosing a club volleyball team is a large commitment for both the athlete and their family! We recognize this commitment is not only financial but involves a great deal of time as well and we hope to provide the information needed to aid families in their decision making process. This page will outline specifics regarding each level of team we offer and the time and travel commitments associated with each; Regional, Select, National, and Elite. 2026 - 2027 Club Levels Offered at East Coast

REGIONAL

• 2 (90 Min) Practices per week: 1 Sunday Practice/1 Weekday Practice
• Dedicated court space: 1 team per court
• Participation in our Master Coaching program, including Position specific and Strategic training
• 5 Tournaments for 12U
• 6 Tournaments for 13U and 14U
• (3) Carolina Region 1 Day Events including the Carolina Region Championships
• (2) Festival 2-Day Event for 12U
• (3) Festival 2-Day Events for 13U and 14U
• Nike Uniform Package: Includes backpack, spandex, 3 uniforms tops, practice tees, kneepads, travel pant & travel jacket.
• 2 Full Time dedicated team coaches. (1 Head and 1 Assistant) 
• Participation in Club Competition and Media day 
• Instruction from ECVA admin and staff during Master Coaching Practices

SELECT (12U - 13U)

• (2) Two Hour Practices per week: 1 Sunday Practice/1 Weekday Practice
• Dedicated Court Space: 1 team per court
• Participation in our Master Coaching Program, including Position specific and Strategic training
• 6 Tournaments
• (3) Carolina Region 1-Day Events including the Carolina Region Championships
• (3) Festival 2-Day Events 
• Nike Uniform Package:  Includes backpack, spandex, 3 uniforms, practice tees, kneepads, travel pant & travel jacket.
• 2 Full Time dedicated team coaches (1 Head and 1 Assistant)
• Instruction from ECVA admin and staff during Master Coaching Practices
• Participation in Club Competition and Media day

SELECT (14U - 18U)

• (2) Two Hour Practices per week: 1 Sunday Practice/1 Weekday Practice
• Dedicated Court Space: 1 team per court

• 7 Tournaments
• (4) Carolina Region 1-Day Events including the Carolina Region Championships
• (3) Festival 2-Day Events 
• Nike Uniform Package:  Includes backpack, spandex, 3 uniforms, practice tees, kneepads, travel pant & travel jacket.
• 2 Full Time dedicated team coaches (1 Head and 1 Assistant)
• Recruiting Support (15U and older)
• Instruction from ECVA admin and staff during Master Coaching Practices

NATIONAL

• (3) Two-Hour Practices per week until competition begins, (2) Two-Hour practices per week during the competitive season
• Dedicated Court Space: 1 team per court 
• Weekly Position Specific and Strategic Training in our Master Coaching Program
• 8 Tournaments
• (3) Carolina Region 1-Day Events including the Carolina Region Championships
• (3) Festival 2 Day Events 
• (1) Festival 3 Day Event 
• (1) USAV National Qualifier

• Additional training dates in May/June to prepare for AAU or USAV Nationals
• Dedicated court space: 1 team per court
• 10 Tournaments 13U - 17U
• 8 Tournaments 18U
• (1) Festival 2-Day Event

• (2) USAV National Qualifiers (Big South, Atlanta GA & TBD)
• (1) Festival 4-Day Event (AAU National Championships Orlando, FL) (USAV Nationals for 18U)
• HUDL/Balltime Video Assist 
• Nike Uniform Package: Includes backpack, spandex, 3 uniform tops, practice tees, kneepads, travel pant & travel jacket
• 2 Full Time dedicated team coaches (1 Head and 1 Assistant)

Nike Uniform Package

All players must purchase the uniform package every season as part of our commitment as a Nike Club**

Girl's Package Includes:

• 3 Long Sleeve Nike Jerseys
• 1 Pair of Nike Spandex (Black)
• 1 Nike Jacket
• 1 Pair of Nike Pants
• 1 Pair of Nike Kneepads (White)
• 1 Nike Backpack
• 3 Practice T-shirts

Refund Policy
As a 501c3 [non-profit organization] East Coast is not able to maintain a large contingency fund and each dollar is allocated to cover rent, facility maintenance, insurance, coaches pay, tournament entry fees and general operating costs. Should we, as a community, experience a situation of a pandemic similar to the 2020 season we will evaluate on frequent basis what monies may be available for refund. Due to the fact that club dues cover facility fees, those monies will not be able to be refunded. Team budgets are created based of the initial number of player commitments to that individual team, therefore signing a commitment to the team is an agreement to pay that amount in full. East Coast will work diligently to do everything possible to ensure players receive optimum gym time and training regardless of obstacles we may face. As always, our commitment to our athletes and their families will be to provide the best possible experience while ensuring that athletes are given the opportunity to train, grow their game, and compete at their personal highest level. We appreciate your understanding during these unprecedented times. 

Once a player and family sign their club commitment forms you are committing to East Coast Volleyball Academy for the full season.  This is a time and financial commitment.  You are committing to attend all practices, games, and team related events.  You are also committing to pay the full dues for your selected team.  Once those papers are signed we are guaranteeing your place with the club, and in return you are committing to the full season and the full financial commitment.  There are no refunds given once commitment papers are signed.  Thank you for understanding that we only have a certain number of spaces on each team and cannot afford as a nonprofit 501c3 to give refunds once you have committed to a team.
