ECVA TRAVEL Beach Volleyball - August - 3 practices/week

You Choose 3 Practice Days Per Week, Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday

This program is designed for the athlete that wants to commit to consistent training and competition for beach volleyball. This registration is for 3 practices/week. Practice days are Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:35-6:05PM and Sundays 12:30-2PM. Players are not required to attend the same practice day(s) each week. We will compete in 1 tournament each month at our home courts at Capt'n Bills. The August tournament date is 8/18. Ultimately, it is the responsibilty of the athlete to find and register with a partner for each event unless a partner is appointed by a coach. Coaches are happy to help with recommendations for partners if asked. It is the player's responsibility to register with their partner for each tournament far enough in advance before the tournament gets full.

Tournaments: This program includes coaching during the Wilmington Volleyball Series tournament on August 18th. Tournament entry costs and any required memberships needed to sign up for certain tournaments are NOT included in this program. It is up to the players to register for these tournaments far enough in advance to ensure the tournament does not run out of space. We will do our best to help athletes find a partner when needed, but again, it is ultimately the responsibility of the athlete to ask around and find a partner for the tournament if the coach does not have a partner for them. Athletes will be required to play with another ECVA travel player for the tournament if there is a suitable partner with similar age and skill (at the discretion of ECVA Beach Director, Kristy Mundy). Partnering with other athletes that are not registered for the ECVA Beach program will be looked at by a case by case basis.

Tournament schedule:

Players will be required to wear ECVA gear while competing in tournaments. We have ECVA Beach tank tops and tshirts for sale.

Head Coach:
Kristy Mundy - Collegiate Beach Volleyball Athlete at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW). Kristy Currently competes on the AVP America Professional Tour! She has a degree in Exercise Science and loves to share her passion and knowledge of volleyball and exercise!

Practices - Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:35pm - 6:05pm. Sundays 12:30pm - 2:00pm.

All practices are held at our state of the art outdoor beach facility, Capt'n Bill's.

We do not make up days or refund for days that are cancelled for weather. An email will be sent out if practice is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances.
